Phase will see some of Perth’s premier electronic producers and DJs take to the decks at Northbridge’s favourite haunt for night owls, Geisha, on Friday, 29 May.
RTRFM will traverse the light and the dark sides of electronic music with sets from James A x Declan, Craig Hollywood x Wil Bixler (Full Frequency), Phil Stroud [LIVE], Gravy Murphy [LIVE], Methods of Movement DJs and Polyrhythmic DJs.
As the moon rises, get down to the best and freshest in deep house, techno, futurist bass music, footwork and more with the Full Frequency duo of Craig Hollywood and Wil Bixler.
Full Frequency alumni James A and Declan will join forces for a post-midnight set of house and techno classics to kick your Friday night into orbit.
Perth-based UK Producer Jon Murphy – aka Gravy Murphy – will perform his ambient experimental productions live. As dark as the night itself, Gravy Murphy’s sonic compositions are deep, complex and genre spanning, taking cues from UK bass music.
Phase will also see the debut live performance from local producer and Mei Saraswati Band moonlighter, Phil Stroud. Stroud’s unique club constructions blend deep percussive grooves and classic house production with elements of African polyrhythms and futurist jazz.
Methods of Movement DJs will provide the soulful house grooves and cosmic disco rhythms to keep you dancing well into the AM.
Bringing Phase into the dawn are trusted late night fixtures Polyrhythmic DJs. The Polyrhythmic crew has found their way onto many techno event line-ups of late, and they will no doubt satiate many an electronic music lover’s appetite with their effortless dance floor selections.
