NORM DE PLUME ( Delusions of Granduer)

Norm De Plume started DJ’ing in the UK in 1996 and moved to London in 2000 where he found a love for Deep House & Disco music. He cites his biggest influences as Ron Hardy, Studio 45 and Sound Stream. He works for Jimpster’s Delusions of Grandeur label and hosts the Delusions Of Grandeur podcast in addition to releasing on and running his own vinyl-only imprint Plumage.

He’s released on Kolour Ltd (Detroit) & provided remixes for Delusions Of Grandeur & Sideways Recordings. His latest Plumage release: “Kobenhavn – London EP” (a joint 12″ with Paxton Fettel) dropped in late 2015. Releases in 2016 include a 2nd split EP with Ben La Desh (forthcoming on Plumage) and a track on the V/A Delusions Of Grandeur 2xLP DOG50. There’s also a forthcoming re-issue of the long since deleted “Groove Grocer EP” (2011) on Kolour Ltd, original copies of which now fetch well over $60. Norm is a regular at the Delusions Of Grandeur label parties at Fabric & Corsica Studios in London. He also runs & plays at his own Plumage label nights.

His international touring has taken him to Berlin, Mexico City, Copenhagen, Reykjavik, Melbourne & Sydney. Norm is currently touring Australia. Playing almost exclusively vinyl, his sound is a mix of deep and disco filtered house, disco edits and original obscure disco gems.
